Job summary

Roadtex Transportation is hiring for a forklift driver at our Harrisburg-area facility. You will inspect forklifts, load and unload goods, maintain inventory records, and ensure safety and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.

Candidates should have at least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass internal safety training.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
