Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, seeks a forklift driver to inspect equipment, load/unload goods, and maintain accurate inventory in our distribution facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and can pass internal safety training; capable of working in dusty, hot or cold conditions and collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• 3 months forklift experience or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Able to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
