Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a reliable forklift driver for our Minnesota facility in Eagan. You will inspect equipment, load and unload pallets, and help maintain accurate inventory while following safety procedures.

The role requires 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass on-site certification. You should be comfortable working in dusty, hot or cold environments and collaborating with warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to successfully pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to perform job tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting the forklift before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Loading and unloading materials and goods onto and off trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintaining inventory records and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Ensuring that the forklift is always operated in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Reporting any forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
