Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a forklift driver to inspect equipment, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment, following procedures and reporting issues promptly.

The role requires physical stamina and compliance with certification requirements. Candidates should have at least 3 months forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED, with the ability to pass internal

Qualifications

• 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and demonstrate safety procedures.
• Able to work in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use and ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load/unload materials onto/from trucks, trailers, or storage areas using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly at all times.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
