Job summary

Roadtex Transportation is seeking a forklift driver to support our warehouse operations in Youngstown, OH. You will operate a forklift, load and unload goods, and assist with inventory while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 months forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass certification training. Physically able to lift, move up to 50–65 lbs, and work in varying conditions is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to pass internal Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures.
• Capable of working in dusty, hot and/or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift prior to use to ensure proper working condition.
• Load and unload materials onto/off trucks using the forklift.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklift safely and responsibly at all times.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
