Job summary

Roadtex Transportation, now part of Echo Global Logistics, is seeking a forklift driver to operate and inspect forklifts, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a warehouse setting.

Applicants should have at least 3 months forklift experience, be able to pass internal safety training, and lift up to 50–65 lbs. This on-site position offers physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months forklift experience or equivalent
• Able to pass Forklift Certification Training and safety procedures
• Physical ability to lift up to 50–65 lbs and work in dusty/hot/cold conditions

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklift before use and ensure safe operation
• Load and unload materials onto/from trucks or storage areas
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety protocols
• Report forklift malfunctions or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
