Job summary

Americold in Rockmart, GA is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment.

Under supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack and prepare orders, and ensure accuracy while adhering to OSHA safety standards. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment.
• Inspect freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label, wrap, and pack as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist with inventory as needed.
