Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products in a cold environment. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, electric pallet jacks, and participate in accurate inventory and order fulfillment.

You must be comfortable working in freezer/cooler conditions, including flexibility to Thursday–Monday shifts starting at 12PM, and adhere to safety and OSHA standards. A GED/high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Effectively stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety and meet production standards while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
• Must be able to work in the freezer and cooler.
