Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using a range of forklift equipment. You will stack merchandise, pick and package orders, and verify accuracy while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least three months of related experience. The role may require overtime, evenings, or weekends, with duties including inventory and battery changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, label, wrap, pack and repack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment safely (forklifts, RF scanners) in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes.
