Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle division is hiring a forklift operator in Castle Hayne, NC. This role operates forklifts per safety policies to move materials and support yard operations.

You will load/unload, inventory, and ensure timely loading for customers with minimal supervision. Minimum 2 years forklift experience and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift operating experience in manufacturing/retail distribution.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay
