Job summary

Americold is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using a range of forklifts and RF equipment. You will load, unload, pick, and organize goods while maintaining accuracy and adhering to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma and at least a few months of related experience. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or GED.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders.
• Operate forklifts safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Assist with inventory and forklift battery changes as needed.
