Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and RF equipment.

The role requires accurate product handling, adherence to OSHA standards, and the ability to meet production targets. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, order picking, quality checks, labeling, and maintaining a clean work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise and pick/assemble orders for shipment.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, infestation; label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as directed by management.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning tasks and forklift battery changes as needed.
