Job summary

Americold Logistics seeks a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks. You will load/unload, stack merchandise, ensure accuracy, and maintain a clean, efficient work area in a temperature-controlled facility.

Responsibilities include meeting production standards, inventory duties, and occasional overtime or weekend shifts as required by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, inspect for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
• Operate equipment in a manner that promotes safety in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
