Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment.

You will load/unload, stack and inventory, and ensure accuracy and safety across the facility. The role requires OSHA-compliant operation and the ability to meet production targets in a controlled climate and potentially cold environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in verification of shipments and labeling.
• Punctual attendance and reliability for shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack, store, pick and assemble orders, check freight for accuracy, damage and infestation, label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment (forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks) safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production targets while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or battery changes as needed.
