Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF equipment.

You will meet production standards, maintain a clean work environment, and may perform other duties such as inventory and battery changes. This role requires attention to safety, ability to work overtime, and dependability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick orders, and check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes; may perform other duties as needed.
