Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, and RF scanners. The role requires safe handling, adherence to OSHA standards, and the ability to meet production targets.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, picking orders, checking for accuracy and damage, labeling and packing, and performing routine duties such as inventory and battery changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy and damage, label, wrap, pack, and repack as directed.
• Operate equipment safely in compliance with OSHA standards (various forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners).
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
