Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. in is seeking a Forklift Operator (Finance) to safely handle receiving, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards in a cold environment. The position supports efficient loading/unloading, order picking, and inventory tasks while maintaining a clean workspace and timely shift performance.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage throughout facility.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack as directed by management.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a manner that promotes safety and complies with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes and other duties as needed.
