Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, pallet jacks and RF equipment. You will load, unload, stack, label and pack orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, and assist with inventory while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred and at least 3 months of related experience; overtime and weekend shifts may be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, label and wrap as directed.
• Operate equipment in accordance with OSHA standards to promote safety.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
