Job summary

Americold Logistics seeks a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach lifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks and related equipment. Under general supervision, you will load/unload freight, stack and store merchandise, verify accuracy, label and pack orders, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and about 3 months of related experience; overtime and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, verify freight for accuracy and damage, label and pack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment safely (forklifts, RF scanners) and meet production standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning or battery changes as needed and other duties as assigned.
