Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, for its warehouse operations in California. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods, replenish stock, and ensure accurate inventory flow while adhering to GMP and safety standards.

You will work in a multi-temperature environment, perform quality checks, and participate in general housekeeping duties. Prior warehouse experience and the ability to pass a post-offer drug test are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled/overtime hours.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly (10–35 lbs) and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment to move freight to inventory or staging areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock and rotate stock as needed.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
• Ensure workplace safety and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete necessary paperwork and secure equipment at end of shift.
