Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to maintain efficient warehouse flow and ensure GMP standards. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, prepare inventory, and replenish pick slots while following safety policies.

The role requires standing, walking, lifting, and working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments, with overtime as needed. Join a team that values safety, accuracy, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience with forklift standup/reach included.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and sets pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day's work orders.
• Rotates date‑sensitive stock to the front of the rack and removes outdated inventory as needed.
• Disperses over‑stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Removes empty pallets and inspect pallets for damage; move as required.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks and ensures paperwork is completed at end of shift.
