Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring for a full-time warehouse role in Salina, KS. Starting pay is $19.75 per hour with a $2 shift differential for hours 3 p.m.–6 a.m.; shift is 1st - C Crew (every other Wednesday through Saturday). Hours are 6:00 a.m.

– 6:00 p.m. Opportunities for advancement exist within a growing food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, staging pallets, maintaining product flow, performing equipment checks, and assisting with inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year of related experience.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift.
• Able to work in cold environments (30 degrees).
• Ability to use WMS and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and lift equipment to receive, store, and transport palletized products in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Efficiently pick and stage pallets from storage racks to Forward Pick areas to support timely trailer loading and distribution.
• Maintain smooth product flow by ensuring all material movements are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
• Perform regular equipment checks, promptly reporting any malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Support inventory control by assisting with periodic counts and maintaining organized storage areas following Good Warehouse Practices.
