Job summary

Schwan's Company in Salina, KS is hiring for a full-time production role in a food-manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m. to 6 a.m. Shift: 1st; Hours: 5 am–3:30 pm.

What you will do: unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. We offer weekly pay, PTO, holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; record waste as directed and notify supervisor of quality issues or equipment problems.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations (GMPs) and safety procedures.
