Job summary

Schwan’s Company is hiring a forklift operator to move trailers, unload materials, and maintain inventory. The role requires a forklift license and a Class A license or the ability to obtain one, plus basic computer skills and SAP/RF experience. Expect a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Starting pay is $25.50 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, and paid vacation. Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Possession of forklift operator's license and a Class A license is required or must be obtained within the timeframe.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use SAP and RF equipment are needed.
• 0–1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass CDL physicals and random drug/alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Move semi-trailers to warehouse areas and unload or load materials as needed.
• Unload ingredients and supplies using a forklift and stack them properly.
• Maintain inventory and notify when reorders are needed.
• Supply packaging and materials to plants to keep lines running smoothly.
• Operate SAP and RF equipment; rotate materials using FIFO method.
• Operate company vehicles for deliveries or pickups as required.
• Perform light maintenance on forklifts and trucks; follow safety policies.
