Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials, move them to and from hold areas, machines, and loading docks. This role requires a high level of attention to prevent injury to others and to promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications (including but not limited to)

• High School diploma or equivalent
• High attention to detail to prevent injuries and promote safety
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and record keeping
• Execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Dependability and good attendance record

Duties (including but not limited to)

• Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas based on production schedules or shipping orders
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates
• Stack goods in designated areas as instructed by Team Leaders
• Ensure loads are secure
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
• Complete assigned duties and work safely in the setting
• Must pass drug and background screening; no felonies within the past 2 years
