Reach Truck Operator - Freezer (Manufacturing)

Job Overview:

The Forklift/Reach Truck Operator will work Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm, and is responsible for the daily put-away and let-down processes within the freezer in the Warehouse.

Expectations:

• Responsible for quality control and correct rotation of all items.
• Ensure that products stored and received meet customer expectations.
• Follow first-in, first-out procedures when stocking and rotating items.

Job Duties:

• Spot-check every received pallet daily to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Handle all products with care to minimize damage.
• Determine slot locations and adjust as needed for product placement.
• Rotate and evaluate current inventory based on expiration dates.
• Complete and submit daily inventory updates and reports on damaged or unsellable products to Inventory staff.
• Submit let-down sheets to area Inventory staff/Supervisor.
• Communicate daily with Supervisor regarding questions, concerns, or issues.
• Refuse products that do not meet quality standards.
• Transfer products to smaller pallets if designated as small wood pallets.
• Report to Supervisor upon completion of assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety rules and warehouse regulations.
• Operate machinery according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high attendance levels.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as directed by Supervisor.
• Interact respectfully with all Martin Bros. personnel.
• Suggest positive improvements for the department and company.
• Read and adhere to company policies.
