ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate forklift continuously, including sitting while driving and moving product.
• Empty trash dumpsters using a forklift.
• Work inside and outside, moving products in various weather conditions.
• Climb in and out of the forklift, with step heights of 20 inches and 10 inches.
• Use both hands for safe forklift operation, controlling steering and levers with the right hand, and pedaling with the right foot.
• Maintain full range of motion to look behind the forklift and up/down when moving products.
• Change 45-pound propane cylinders on the forklift (up to 50 inches) once per shift.
• Work all shifts, including nights, with the ability to see in low light; vision correction required (20/40).
• Be certified in forklift and crane operation.
• Shift duration is 8 hours, with potential overtime up to 10-12 hours, including two 10-minute breaks and a 20-minute meal break.

JOB PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, and hearing. Repeatedly lift/move up to 50 pounds, push, pull, reach overhead and below shoulder level. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and vibration; work environment is typically loud.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
