Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate tasks, and enforce safety policies on job sites in the United States. The role involves training crew members, communicating with property owners, and maintaining records of work performed to ensure quality and safety standards.

The Foreperson collaborates with management to meet deadlines, manage costs, and uphold company service levels, while ensuring compliance with DOT requirements and agency

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners about access, work details, and any property disturbance; refers contested cases to the General Foreperson.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform required work.
• Maintains good customer relations through quality work and professional crew behavior.
• Investigates incidents/damage and settles minor claims when delegated.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
