Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with aerial, buried, or underground electrical lines.
  • Valid driver's license with 2 years of driving experience or Class A CDL.

As a Foreman Aerial Crew, you will perform duties related to installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cables, ensuring the scope of work performed meets customer standards.

What you'll do...

  • Prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently
  • Lead and train crew while adhering to all safety procedures
  • Follow production procedures, accurately track and submit daily reports and paperwork
  • Complete work orders under supervisor’s direction and customer specifications, ensuring tasks are completed on time or notifying appropriate personnel of delays
  • Manage issued equipment including trucks, trailers, tools, signs, cones, etc.
  • Safely identify utilities and recognize electrical and other safety hazards in the work area
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Ensure timely completion of work responsibilities and projects
  • Uphold company ethical standards, demonstrating integrity in all professional and personal matters
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for...

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to work in the United States
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You possess a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience or a Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • 3 years of experience working with aerial, buried, or underground energized electrical lines
  • Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
  • Experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with bucket truck operation and ability to climb telephone poles
  • Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
  • Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and site plans
