Qualifications

As a Foreman Aerial Crew, you will perform duties related to installing and repairing aerial telecommunications cables, ensuring that the scope of work performed meets customer standards.

What you'll do...

  • Prioritize and plan work activities efficiently
  • Lead and train crew while adhering to all safety procedures
  • Follow production procedures, accurately track and submit daily reports and paperwork
  • Complete work orders under supervisor's guidance and customer specifications, ensuring timely completion or notifying appropriate personnel of delays
  • Manage issued equipment including trucks, trailers, tools, signs, cones, etc.
  • Identify utilities in the work area and recognize electrical and other safety hazards
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements
  • Complete work responsibilities and special projects within designated timeframes
  • Maintain integrity and adhere to ethical standards in all professional and personal matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for...

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are authorized to work in the United States
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You possess a valid standard Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience or a Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • 3 years of related experience working with aerial, buried, or underground energized electrical lines
  • Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations and requirements
  • Experience in operating and maintaining heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with bucket truck operation and ability to climb telephone poles
  • Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices
  • Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and site plans
