Job summary

Regions Bank in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is seeking a Loan Servicing Single Point of Contact Specialist. You will work with borrowers in foreclosure, serving as the sole contact until hardship is resolved, and will guide loss mitigation steps and repayment plans.

Primary duties include handling delinquency, ensuring accuracy of paperwork, staying compliant with regulations, and assisting with process improvements while providing strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of related experience.
• Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment for the position.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a direct point of contact for delinquent or imminent default borrowers and assists them through the loss mitigation servicing process.
• Assesses, resolves, and executes appropriate workout solutions.
• Works with customers to resolve mortgage account delinquency status while minimizing company interest losses.
• Implements repayment plans as necessary and collects delinquent payments.
• Ensures that files and paperwork are properly and accurately completed.
• Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices.
• May contact outside parties to collect or clarify documentation.
