Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation in Hattiesburg, MS, is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to perform a variety of operational tasks within Loan Servicing, including special servicing, loan workout, investor relations, and loan operations.

The position requires high school diploma or GED and may include a one-year banking-related experience. Training hours are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with regular in-office work three or more days a week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reviews incoming work and coordinates with resources as needed.
• Reviews loan documentation for accuracy.
• Completes validation of loan documentation, reports, and systems.
• Documents missing, incorrect, or incomplete documents and data.
• Performs data entry and/or enters loans into the appropriate systems.
• Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary and communicates when applicable.
• Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects documents/reports.
• Researches and resolves loan-related issues including missing payments or disputes.
