Job summary

Mortgage Center in Southfield, MI is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to join our mortgage operations team. In this role you assist counselors to prevent delinquency and communicate with foreclosure attorneys, investors, and credit unions to determine liquidation strategies.

You will process loans through the foreclosure and bankruptcy processes, file reimbursement claims, and manage recoverability of legal costs while maintaining regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with foreclosure processes from referral through eviction.
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC fore­closure guidelines.
• Experience with PMI and 571 claims and HUD/REO guidelines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist counselors in preventing delinquency through phone and email communications.
• Coordinate with foreclosure attorneys, investors, and credit unions to determine liquidation strategies.
• Process loans through the full foreclosure process, including bankruptcy steps.
