Qualifications

• 3 years combined higher ed and/or work exp, with at least 1 year in Default Servicing.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Motivated, team player with a positive and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress of the foreclosure action from referral to post foreclosure, including issue management and research needed to complete the action.
• Communicate with foreclosure attorneys to minimize delays and resolve simple contested actions and title issues.
• Provide status updates to investors during foreclosure and assemble documentation for audits.
• Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports for Foreclosure (e.g., monthly scorecards, exceptions, workflow tracking).
• Ensure investor deadlines are met (e.g., FHA 1st legal deadlines and eviction deadlines).
• Prepare bidding instructions per investor guidelines and ensure proper bidding when M&T’s lien is not first.
