Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer service and help meet store goals. The role includes POS/Back Office duties such as refunds, exchanges, and processing Customer Pickup orders.

Responsibilities include maintaining presentation, stocking, and cleanliness, building product knowledge, and assisting with inventories. Experience in footwear retail and strong interpersonal skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
• Basic communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers and strive to meet store goals and business initiatives.
• Handle refunds/exchanges and processing S2H and Customer Pickup orders as part of POS/Back Office duties.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, stock organization, and store cleanliness.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Participate in physical inventories and assist shipping/receiving merchandise as needed.
• Process sales and POS transactions; ensure shoes are matched and accounted for.
