Candidates should be able to handle POS transactions accurately, stay informed about promotions, and contribute to loss prevention efforts while working with store management and colleagues to meet store objectives.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees at all levels.
• Basic communication and numeracy skills necessary for sales and POS handling.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear or specialty retail.
• Familiarity with store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising and store presentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers following service standards.
• Promote company rewards program and other initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and stock presentation.
• Ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised; keep areas clean and organized.
• Develop product knowledge and sizing skills.
• Monitor loss prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
• Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving, and on-floor merchandise placement.
• Process sales and POS transactions accurately and securely.
