Job summary

Arthrex Chicago is seeking a Foot and Ankle Sales Representative to achieve sales goals within the assigned territory. You will build relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals, and consult in the operating room on implants and instruments, maintaining expertise in Foot and Ankle and trauma products.

The role requires at least 1 year in orthopedic sales, comfort in open operating room environments, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years orthopedic sales experience; Foot and Ankle, DEX and trauma experience preferred.
• Ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
• Must be comfortable in open operating room environments.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it relates to Arthrex.
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures.
• Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Achieve predetermined sales goals and quotas within the assigned territory.
• Establish, build and maintain customer relations through regular communication and in-person appointments.
• Consult surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of Arthrex implants and instruments.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed territory objectives.
• Cross-sell additional products and manage new product introductions as they become available.
• Address problems at accounts and maintain ethics and compliance.
• Receive coaching and transfer knowledge to peers; maintain sales skills and product knowledge.
• Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association events outside normal hours.
