Job summary

Arthrex in Philadelphia is seeking an Extremities and Trauma Sales Representative to drive territory growth by building strong relationships with surgeons and healthcare professionals. You will consult in the operating room, maintain expert knowledge of the trauma product portfolio, and promote Arthrex implants and instruments.

The role requires 3+ years of orthopedic experience, a bachelor's degree, and comfort in open OR environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years orthopedic experience; DEX/trauma preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Comfortable in open operating room environments
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and terminology as it relates to Arthrex
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures
• Ability to learn high-level technical information, anatomy and indications related to surgery
• Prior sales experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory; Arthrex Arizona is an independent agency selling Arthrex products by working with surgeons and health care professionals
• Build and maintain strong business relationships to develop and implement sales strategies
• Communicate product updates, changes to portfolio and educational programs to current and new accounts
• Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to position the organization competitively
• Cross‑sell additional products or manage new product introductions
• Address problems at accounts and ensure compliance with laws and policies
• Receive coaching and transfer knowledge to peers; maintain training in sales skills and product features
• Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends
• Attend sales and association meetings outside regular hours
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
