Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, DePuy Synthes Foot & Ankle Sales Consultant, seeks to grow the F&A HCP base in the Norfolk/Hampton Roads area. You will present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes’ products while building relationships with surgeons and OR staff.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years in orthopedics or medical devices sales, with strong communication, negotiation and travel readiness; commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience in sales or related fields.
• Associates degree + 4 years related experience also acceptable.
• Certified Surgical Technician with related experience also qualifies.
• Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Acquire expertise of F&A portfolio and understand products.
• Spearhead selling of F&A products to new accounts and expand sales with existing customers.
• Educate surgeons and OR staff on proper use of F&A portfolio.
• Build clinical relationships with surgeons and evaluators.
• Support territory with case coverage and field calls as needed.
• Collaborate with Trauma partners to grow F&A business in specific geographies.
• Maintain equipment and promotional materials; ensure timely product delivery.
• Meet business plan objectives and sales quotas.
