Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks an experienced Sales professional to promote products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and drive sales within the territory. This role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include developing new business, qualifying prospects, and delivering training and product information to customer personnel while supporting the company’s profit goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline or 3 years Restaurant Management or outside sales experience
• Equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor products/services accordingly.
• Promote products, prices, and availability to customers.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Assist with training of new employees as requested.
• Review daily/weekly reports and sales margins.
