Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The focus is to help customers succeed while achieving sales goals in the assigned territory.

This role may require non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet client needs. We offer a competitive base salary, bonuses, car allowance, cell phone, plus a robust benefits package and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field OR 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurability standards.
• Willing to relocate to territory vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs and goals.
• Share market and competitor information with customers as part of value-added services.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
