Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services, build new relationships, and support existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customers’ needs.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor product solutions while driving sales growth in the assigned territory. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related fields.
• 3 years restaurant management or outside sales experience if no degree.
• Bi-lingual ability is preferred; chef or culinary background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate accounts, and grow profitable sales.
• Qualify prospects and align solutions to customer needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts and events as needed.
• Coordinate with credit to collect balances due per terms.
• Prepare sales budgets, reports, quotes, and menu suggestions.
• Attend district meetings and participate in ongoing training.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales.
