Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services, build strong relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals. The role may require non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor solutions while learning market trends and product innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent experience including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual preferred; restaurant management or foodservice outside sales experience an advantage.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and achieve profitable sales growth within territory.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product/service mixes.
• Present products, provide training, and respond to pricing and availability questions.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events as required.
• Manage deliveries and coordinate with transportation to meet routing schedules.
• Attend meetings and participate in training sessions; assist new employees as requested.
