Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to promote products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and drive sales growth. The role may require non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, qualify prospects, and tailor product solutions while staying informed on market trends and competitor activity. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and service to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers based on business needs and goals.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
