Performance Foodservice in Louisiana is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage order entries and inquiries. You will engage with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally to resolve issues and ensure service quality.

Responsibilities include processing orders, credits, and invoicing, assisting with problem resolution, and guiding customers through the online portal. Training and team meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6 Months - 1 Year Customer service, call center and / or related area required.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors and request samples for customers.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes, emails, and EDI daily; write sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Assist customers in finding alternative or new products when original request is unavailable.
• Walk customers through our online order portal after pre-orders and special orders.
• Verify orders and customer quantities by running reports; log customer interactions and transactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned; comply with policies and standards.
