Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Customer Service professional to handle order entry, credits, and inquiries for diverse customers. You will maintain accurate invoicing, assist with orders, and provide professional support across vendors and coworkers.

The role requires on-site training participation and a weekend/holiday schedule; prior foodservice experience is preferred and company benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1-2 years customer service, call center and / or related area.
• Schedule: Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
• Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 4:45pm - must be able to work holidays.
• Training is on site.
• Foodservice background preferred.
• Foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits and add bills.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with orders and problems.
• Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform administrative responsibilities such as checking faxes and mail on a daily basis, writing sample requests and special orders when necessary.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Sunday 8:00am to 4:00pm - Monday - Thursday 8:15am to 4:45pm - must be able to work holidays.
