Job summary

Eurofins Louisville seeks a Business Unit Manager for Food Testing to lead and expand the local operation, align with group strategy, and drive double-digit growth while meeting EBIT targets.

You will oversee laboratories and logistics, implement the eLims LIS, manage client relations, and hire and develop leaders, with approximately six years of experience and proven profitability in a services setting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years with full P&L responsibility for a team of 20+ staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop the BU activities through organic growth (including outsourcing of industry/government labs) and acquisitions with the objective to double in size within 4 years while meeting EBIT growth objectives.
• Improve operations efficiency at laboratories and logistics; streamline processes and optimize use of IT and the eLims system to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Lead marketing and sales efforts; maintain strong client relationships and lead meetings with key clients to understand and meet requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all companies under your responsibility.
