Job summary

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead operations at the Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV laboratory. The role guides safety, quality, and financial performance, coordinating across departments to achieve lab goals while upholding corporate standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology/chemistry, extensive supervisory experience, and a proven ability to manage budgets and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field or equivalent experience.
• MS or PhD preferred.
• At least 10 years of supervisory experience.
• At least 10 years in laboratory operations with P/L accountability of $5M+ net sales.
• Familiarity with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team, schedule, and train employees.
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations.
• Oversee daily operations including laboratory, quality, logistics, and managerial duties.
• Represent the laboratory in technical meetings and coordinate with Sales/Marketing.
