Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing seeks a Laboratory Business Manager to lead the laboratory team, drive budget performance, and ensure compliance with corporate and environmental regulations. This role partners with senior leaders to deliver high-quality testing services and profitable growth.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry, 10+ years of supervisory experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related concentration or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DOL regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong customer relations skills.
• Ability to manage a business at a profit/loss level.
• Ability to control operating budgets.
• Ability to develop and enforce policies and operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team, schedule, and train employees.
• Ensure adherence to high quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations.
• Oversee budgeting, capital expenses, and revenue growth.
• Coordinate with Business Unit Managers across locations to meet client needs.
• Represent the laboratory in technical meetings and project proposals.
• Assist in marketing strategies and large technical studies.
