UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh is hiring a Full Time Team Leader, Food Services to support the Dietary and Cafeteria department. The role focuses on training and developing food service associates and supporting the Food Service Supervisor.

Shifts are varied with rotating weekends/holidays and every other Monday and Friday off; shift times are 4:30am-1pm and 10am-6:30pm. This is an entry level leadership role with a starting rate of $19.60/hour.

Qualifications

• Entry level leadership role within the department.

Responsabilités

• Supervise hourly associates and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee inventory security and cash revenues.
• Orient, train, and coach new team members.
• Monitor food safety program and address hazards.
• Supervise services per department standards and perform QA checks.
• Conduct routine competency checks.
• Handle service recovery for customer complaints.
• Monitor meal quantities and catering to menu requests.
• Maintain sanitation program and ensure inspection readiness.
